The 501st Legion's Empire City Garrison has been asked to attend a SteamCon at Sachem Public Library - Holbrook, LI,NY on Saturday, June 9th 2018 from 11:00am – 2:00pm (10:30am Arrival). The event will feature games, crafts, and activities for kids. They would like us for 2-3 hours of this daylong event. Our contact there is Anthony Bliss, who was referred by other libraries, and he would be excited to have us there.
Organizer Comments: “SteamCon is the Sachem Public Library's Summer Reading Kick Off Event. It is a celebration of all things STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) and a gathering of crafters and hobbyists of all types. We have heard rave reviews from other local libraries who have requested volunteers for their events through your organization”
