The 501st Legion's Empire City Garrison has been asked to attend a Holiday Charity Benefit Party for the John Thiessen Foundation at Grasshopper's Comics, in Williston Park, Long Island, NY on Saturday, December 8th, 2012 from 1pm - 4PM. The Rebel Legion's Echo Base have also been invited and we would welcome their support. The event will feature a Toy Drive, free comic signings by comic book artists, raffles, food, snacks, games, and free comics. This is a charity fundraiser for some local charities, including the John Thiessen foundation.
